Event Attack

4/7/2026|By Soulesk

I was meeting people for an event, I believe a woman was getting married and was cleaning for her. She was showing me around these trailors that I was to clean. Then she takes me to another area which is a really big building and tells me Im going to clean that. There was a long train ride that I took, I was by myself. I took this train and it went down into the town ending up at these hotels, I get off and stand there to look around. There was a man and we start talking, I had previously been looking at some maps and scouting the area while on the train. I was talking to this man and I had asked him, "this  road it goes straight to Santa Cruz?" He says, " oh yeah you can get to Santa Cruz if you go that way" and I said, "but this road, this road specifically if you follow it straight it goes straight into Santa Cruz." He says, " Yeah I believe so, you know I cant remember if i've tried that but I do know that it does go to Santa Cruz." I said, " Yeah I just tried it, on the train. I believe I passed Sant Cruz, I just seen it." He said, "Ok, yea, are you going?" I said, " I don't know I might." So then I take the train back to that place that Im supposed to clean and I unintentionaly meet with a guy I was dating in WL were both suprised to see eachother. He talks to me outside of the place and I explain to him Im going to be cleaning. He sort of talks to me like were still dating. He says,"Thank you beautiful, Ill see you after." and he hugs me. So I begin to clean and the floors are so dusty and dirty so what I do is I start with a bucket of soap water and start pouring it all over the floors. I just figure Im going to wash the floor first and then wash it a second time when im done cleaning the surfaces. So im doing this and end up making it into one of the rooms to wash the floors and my former date from WL is in there and hes just sitting there playing video games but he has all these tools around him, some being guns. I don't think anything of them, he really does have guns in WL, so I dont think much of them Im just not sure why he has them surrounding him. I continue washing the floor and I see a cat and this cat is following me around so I figure theres a litter box somewhere that I have to empty so as Im washing the floor im kind of keeping an eye out for a litter box. Im done with the place and I'm outside and ready to take the train. I don't talk to the guy I used to be involved with because I don't consider us to be anything so I just leave. I end up waiting with a group of people for a train thats going to take me into Santa Cruz, thats when I decide to go but its a route through the forest not just straight up one road. I then remember I have to go to those trailers so I make a plan to go to Santa Cruz and then the trailers. So I'm waiting for this train with a group of people and these people are really nice, they start conversing with me and letting me know where there going and what they are going to be doing for the day. Some people are actually going to an event and they explain they're just going and are coming back to experience that event. I tell them that I cleaned that building where I believe the event is going to be that they may be attending. I ask them, "is it a wedding, could it be a wedding?" one of the guys says "Yes" I say, " Ok, so were doing the same thing. I'm just going to Santa Cruz and then Ill be coming back to clean some trailers but I just finished the event. I was the one who cleaned it, the event area." They're happy to be talking to me and meeting me. We get on this train and immediatly once we get on and sit, there are these alien like creatures, looking like the aliens from the movie alien but robotic, made of metal and completly silver. They start breaking through the windows as were riding, as the train is going they chase us all the way up through the forest the same speed as the train and burst through the window and through the walls coming in to attack us. One of the guys pulls out his gun, the guy I was talking to about the event. He pulls out this big gun, was like a machine gun but the style of a sniper rifel. He starts shooting all these aliens and there are some other people, I feel they were the same people who entered the train with us, they pull out their guns too. I think 'why don't I have a gun, everybody in here has a gun' I feel left out, I feel vonerable and I feel afraid because I don't want to get hurt because I don't have a gun. The guy who initially pulled out a gun tells me, " get behind me.. Ill protect you!" So I get behind him and hes shooting all these aliens until thats it they're gone. We sit in the train and the train is still operating even though the train is missing part of its walls and part of its windows its still running and we still end up in Santa Cruz. We get off and I'm eager to take another train so that we can go back, I don't really want to be there after that. I get on another train and I tell the guy that I'm going to be leaving. He tells me, "Ok, I'll see you" I'm not sure what he means by that but when I get on the train I sit and the guy who is operating the train he is that same guy. I go to the front where he is and I tell him, "You know the last train had aliens and I wanted to ask.. do you have a gun? cause I don't know if its going to happen again." He says,"Oh yea , I do" and he shows me his gun. I say, "Ok, um, can I see that? Can I use it? Cause I just want to be sure that if they come agian im safe you know and that I can protect myself." He says, "Yea, here, you can have that one" It's small, its a small black gun, looks like a sniper rifel as well but the barrel is really thin. I go to shoot it just to practice and it shoots out this red lazer ball, its just a lazer ball a tiny little, looks like a poof ball. It shoots it out and shoots really slow and it hits a tree puncturing the tree so I know it works. We're riding in the train, as Im shooting the train is operating, Im just trying to shoot targets through the window, I accidently shoot through the window rather then through an opening and the lazer ball goes through the window without damaging it. I continue shooting through an opening in the window because I dont want to take my chances and damage it and figure it was just my mind playing tricks on me when it had gone through it. He says, "oh, go ahead and shoot it at the window, you dont have to roll down the window or anything. Those amunitions they go through the window." So I was shooting at the window and the bullets were going through and hitting the trees outside. I asked him, " what kind of amunition is this because its like a lazer?" He said, "Yea, it can go through anything." I said, "But its going through the glass, through the window and its not breaking it. If this went through a person would it harm the person is what i'm wondering." He said, "Well yeah, look at the tree, it got stuck in the tree, theres a hole in the tree." I said, "Yeah but why is there not a hole through the window?" He said, "oh it goes through glass without puncturing the glass" He said, "Yea because its like a reflection, it works in that way, in a certain way" So I say, "Ok" Then I see these aliens and these are black exactly like the aliens from the movie. They start running up to the train, towards the front of the train and we're not stopping. One of the aliens jumps on top of the front of the train and quickly crawls entering from the side main door which is fully open. I shoot him but it doesnt seem to do anything. I shoot him again and I can't remember if it did anything to him. Scene of dream immediatly jumps and im at the trailers that im supposed to clean, im looking around,  im afraid and I still have the gun with me in my hand but the train is gone. Im looking around and im afraid because I know that I had just gotten off a train with aliens and I cant remember what had happened. There are the trailers Im supposed to clean and I just carry on thinking, 'Ill just start cleaning.'

Your dream reads like a layered story about movement through change and the responsibility you carry along the way. The train journeys and the repeated idea of cleaning an event space suggest you are both traveling through a transitional period and trying to make things orderly for others — preparing the scene, doing the unseen labor that lets life ceremonies go on. That solitude on the train, the maps and scouting, and the decision whether or not to go to Santa Cruz speak to an inner navigation: you’re weighing routes, wondering whether to take a familiar, straight path or a more circuitous, interior one through the forest. Emotionally, there’s a tension between curiosity and duty — the pull toward exploration and the obligation to return and tidy up what matters to you or to others. When the alien attack erupts, the dream gives form to a sudden, foreign threat — not just danger but the intrusion of something unknown into a space you assumed was safe. The alien figures read like the shadow: parts of fear, anxiety, or unexpected conflict that break through glassy assurances (the intact windows) and force you to confront vulnerability. The man you used to date, who morphs into a protector wielding a gun, represents an animus figure who offers safety but also highlights mixed feelings about reliance and intimacy. You experience gratitude and a wish to be protected alongside a nagging sense of exclusion when you notice everyone else has a weapon and you do not. That mix — wanting protection but feeling left out or powerless — is emotionally candid: you want agency, but you may also be unsure where it legitimately comes from. The weaponry in the dream is especially telling. The guns that shoot laser-like rounds that pass through glass without shattering it, puncturing a tree instead, raise questions about visible versus invisible consequences. Actions you take (or imagine taking) may leave effects that aren’t immediately obvious to others; your efforts could be changing things in ways that aren’t acknowledged, or you may be worried that something you do could harm someone even if it doesn’t look like it. There’s also a moral layer: you ask whether the weapon would hurt a person, and the answer is ambiguous. That ambivalence points to a broader inner negotiation about protecting yourself without becoming someone who causes damage you can’t fully see or claim responsibility for. The domestic strands — cleaning, trailers, the woman getting married, and the cat — bring the dream gently back to everyday caretaking and the small, concrete duties you carry. Cleaning tragic or dusty places suggests a desire to restore clarity, to erase leftover residue from past events or relationships. The cat and the litter box are intimate, practical reminders of home, instinct, and the small tasks that keep life habitable. Returning to the trailers after the attack and simply going on with the cleaning captures a kind of resilience but also a possible avoidance: finishing the job may be how you contain anxiety, or it may be a way of not pausing to process what just happened. Taken together, the dream asks some quiet, useful questions: What are you trying to tidy up in your life, and for whom? Where do you feel unprotected or excluded from sources of power or decision-making? Which parts of your inner world feel alien and threatening right now, and where might those fears be asking to be seen rather than simply washed away? You might find it helpful to notice small, actionable ways to cultivate agency that feel safe — setting clearer boundaries about what you will clean up for others, acknowledging lingering feelings about that past relationship, or sharing plans with trustworthy people so you don’t feel isolated on the journey. The image of a train that keeps moving despite broken windows is quietly encouraging: you can continue forward, and you don’t have to pretend the damage isn’t there. Pausing to name what felt threatening and to choose how you want to protect yourself can be a gentle next step toward feeling both prepared and whole again.
