I have a lot to unpack…

Three Nights Ago: I was being given a choice to work at one of two hotels as an intern. The one hotel looked run down and not very nice. The other was extremely fancy was actually a Disney hotel, so it looks like a kingdom with creams and light blues. It was like something out of Mario Kart. In order to choose a hotel to work for, I would be staying at both. The first hotel was the Disney hotel. My classmate CW was with me as well as another girl. But something was off about the Disney hotel. It was beautiful, but I got the sense that something was going on. The staff acted like I wasn’t allowed to leave. Specifically, the female manager who managed the hotel was her (very attractive) son. CW and the son hit it off, and she couldn’t sense what was going on. She was in bliss, but I felt so uneasy. I woke up when I tried to escape the hotel but couldn’t find a way out. Last Night: I was heading towards the crosswalks near my dorms at the end of the day. It was beautiful outside, and I was heading to dinner. Golden hour was approaching, and everything was gorgeous. The guy I was last in the talking stage with was with his friends, and they were getting a group picture. They told me to join in, so I did. He was just being really sweet and wanted to promise to see one another more. It was really nice. This morning: In real life, I woke up at about 6 a.m. and stayed on my phone for an hour before falling back asleep. But my brain was extremely active during this time. I couldn’t separate my dreams from reality at all, they were so vivid. In real life, later in the morning, I was supposed to have a Zoom call. In my dream, I entered the Zoom call, but it didn’t take me where I needed to go. Instead, I was watching a class of students learn astronomy. It looked like their school was on Mars because the ground outside the windows was red. I was kind of scared and confused, and the team I was supposed to be meeting with wasn’t happy with me. From there, the dream transformed. Now, everything was post-apocalyptic, and there was a zombie problem. I was with a group of adults, and we were trying to survive. They were also scientists performing experiments to learn more about the zombies. We came across a farm of half-eaten cows. It was very grotesque and disturbing to see their limbs sticking out in blood. We were then on a huge boat in the ocean, but a storm was coming and the waves were getting intense. As the youngest in the group, I was holding onto the side of the boat for dear life while one of the guy scientists had his arms around me. I watched, wide eyed, as the boat did a completely 360 and went upside down. I could feel it in my stomach. It was nuts, water was spraying me and everything.
