Beautiful Things

When I woke up in the morning, my aunt and her boyfriend were at my house. I had forgotten they were coming over, so I began to get ready for a fun day with them. As I walked around my house, it looked so much more beautiful than it does in real life. I was surrounded by trees, and the house seemed much older with these big antique windows. My two cats were alive, and I let them look outside until a crow came very close to the window. My aunt’s boyfriend looked like Hans from Frozen, so I was a little suspicious of him. We decided to go to a coffee place (not the one my aunt suggested because that one was not very good). Later in the day, I was by these docks on the ocean with a group of friends. We had a boat. I don’t know what we were doing, but we were planning something. I had used one of the boat’s ropes to swing into the water. It was such a gorgeous day. Then, I was talking to this old man (who turned into an old woman) about renting her boat. I think my friends wanted to fish for something specific. Then, the sun started setting. In the shallow water (as the tide went down) I saw octopus (one black one and one white one) scurrying around and leaving ink. When the tide went out, I saw glow in the dark sea glass in the sand. I went down under the pier to get some, thinking maybe the octopus ink made it glow in the dark. It was green and blue. One piece of sea glass had the UK flag on it.
