A dream about old friends š«¶š¼
I had a dream that my old boss, Scott, was trying to retire and with it create a device that might make him some money. Oddly enough, I had a dream within the dream showing me a device of my own. I drew it up on a sheet of paper and was showing him when his eyes lit up. He offered me 75k to purchase it but told me that I couldnāt see the finished product or the sketching of what heād do with it. We had a meeting and everything he drew up for me to sign was scribbled on tiny post it notes. It was super sloppy and unprofessional. I told him I needed a day to think about his offer. I knew whatever he was doing was bad news. I was stuck between taking the money and doing the (probably) right thing. Somehow, a bit later, I saw a sketching he left out that suggested he wanted to blow up half the world, swoop in as some hero, and rule the other half. That was his retirement plan. To cause tragedy and play hero. It didnāt matter if I took the money, he already had my design and would use it regardless. Later that night I had a lucid dream within the dream where I asked my characters from Rescue Me (a fictional story Iām writing about super beings in a dream world) to please come help me save the world. A number was left for me in the dream, I woke up and write it down. I called it mid day praying it would be my Reggie (the main love interest who I used to dream about when I was younger). that picked up.. but it didnāt sound like him over the voicemail. I worried it was a different Reggie. Still I left a message pleading for help. It wasnāt Reggie who I called but another man named Reggie Remmings who came in clutch and showed up to help me bug the office to get proof of Scottās plan. He was a really spiritual Native American who told me he got a feeling the things I was seeing were true and would happen. That my friends were alive and would be here to help stop the end of the world. In the previous dream I asked my friends to meet me at my old childhood house. I waited there and couldnāt believe when they pulled up. I was in tears. No one but me was home. Rachel and Jonas climbed out first and jumped me with a hug, kissing my cheeks. A second car pulled up and Reggie climbed out. He was breathing heavy and couldnāt look at me when he got out. It was our first time meeting in person. I sprinted for him and we just held each other tight and kissed. We were joking and mean to each other at first but weāre so happy to be together, to have the whole gang together. We had one day to mess with the island in a way that might save everyone. Scotty was going to blow up half of it with all the babies. He had a seating chart to assure it. We tried telling people not to come but it was too late. People were going in droves on busses for some holiday celebration despite our warnings. My family included. I didnāt show up for my last meeting with Scott but I knew he already copied my designs. I told my mom on the bus what was happening but she wouldnāt believe me. When I told her Reggie was real she said that I needed help. The end of the dream was fuzzy but we all met back on the island and prepared to stop Scott from blowing the planet up.
