I had a dream that I was living in a house belonging to a larger community of very young people. We had a committee meeting for both sides of the street that worked to close the divide between street sides. I was in hot water already because I had fallen asleep at my shift, watching comfort tv with my mom. I didn’t much care at the time but I knew everyone was getting mad at me. There was a party at some point near a water hole surrounded by high rock. I saw that a T-shirt of mine fluttered down and stood stark against the sea floor. Before I could jump in and grab it, a younger girl jumped in for me and got herself hurt / stuck / idk but she passed out and I dove down to retrieve her. Later on, up on the same ledge, I watched my dog play in the water. A carriage of horses blew past nearly killing her. I was screaming at the three men but only the little blonde girl responded to me saying it was just an accident. The three big men told me to come down there and fight them. I jumped down wildly and landed on two feet. Drawing at least one of them silent. I stabbed him in eyes and then put down the other two. There was a strange intermission involving these men where I was scared of them because they wouldn’t do as I asked even though I was lucid for a moment. I was screaming that they couldn’t hurt me and to hold still, the spell only lasted a few seconds. Earlier in the dream, I had been put on trial with the committee. I was put on probation and given an ankle monitor that I learned slipped off whenever I switched my pants, though I didn’t notice this till near the end of the dream. At this point I’m asked to return to another meeting to decide my fate. I go to listen but my dog ends up pooping. I pick her up and sprint to my own bathroom to have her finish. She tried to escape so I grabbed her by the scruff and wrenched her back to shut the door. A committee member saw that exchange and gave a suspicious glance. I was annoyed and felt like a bad person, fearing she would go tell the other members. Not returning to the meeting I go into the massive shared living room to find around 10 people. There’s an old man with three sons who I wanted to “test” to ensure he wouldn’t cheat on his wife who he started talking about loudly when I walked in. He ended up running out embarrassed, ordering his son’s follow saying “they needed to go or he (dad) might surprise them (kids).” Everyone was so pissed off at me but I doubled down saying I just saved a relationship and that the kids should be happy they have such a controlled father. I was acutely aware of a boyfriend throughout this dream. When he arrived and moved to get a plate of food I watched adoringly. I had been fighting with a woman about the merit of what I had done, needing to be right and not a bad person, but when I saw him I dropped it and said it didn’t even matter.
