Exposed 🫣

I don’t remember too much of this dream. I think it was the last day of high school, and I remember walking about the building. It definitely looked pretty different. The buildings were made of grey stone, and they were taller. Nicer. The bell had rung, signaling the end of the day, and students were rushing everywhere. I was really tense about something, but I don’t remember what. As I walked outside, I frantically looked through my phone for something. I think it was related to my sister, she was on my mind. As I did, I could feel my crush from high school walking behind me. He seemed to be following me, but I wasn’t sure. There was a crowd of students surrounding something. I don’t think it was a fight, maybe a teacher? I stood in the crowd to get out of other people’s way, students were just everywhere trying to get out of school and to their buses or cars. I could feel my crush standing nearby, but when I turned around to look at him, this younger girl held his face in her hands and started to kiss him. Afterwards, she smiled and ran away. I was pretty shocked, and so was he. I knew I probably wouldn’t see him again. I was a senior, I was graduating. I started saying goodbye to him when he suddenly wrapped his arms around me. Maybe drawing a little inspiration from the girl before me, and knowing that I wouldn’t see him again, I whispered and asked if I could kiss him. He pulled away, but kept me in his arms, and he said yes. I didn’t want to do anything crazy, so I just kissed him on the cheek. I turned away and was ready to go home. I was starting to wake up from the dream at this point, but as I did, he grabbed my arm and pulled me back towards him, suddenly kissing me on the lips. In all honesty, I think the dream is a sign that I’m trying to move on from feelings I’ve had for other guys that haven’t worked out, but they keep holding me back. I’m not really sure what I’m supposed to do.
