The Big Birthday Bash

I had a dream it was my birthday! I sent out a lot of Birthday invitations and invited a lot of cute boys who made it clear early in the dream they all wanted a chance to date me. I wasn’t going to be the one to tell them no or “I’m seeing someone else” so I thought I could let them all come if I played my cards right. Lots of different types of boys. One was very sweet, a gentle soul. Another was funny as hell and laughed at everything I said, he was a lot of fun. There was a third one who constantly told me about trouble happening around the party, pulling me away from friends, my mom. There was one point when he brought two different dyes over to me and kept saying someone switched the colors- I concluded that the tight feeling I got around him was my instincts telling me he was bad news. My dad started off the party being present but decided very early on it was too much for him to handle and left. His final straw was the drinks and food all over the furniture and floor which I promised to clean up later. He left to avoid being a dick to anyone so I didn’t mind. My ex partner, who I was still seeing in my dream, Micah, showed up and immediately his presence makes me uncomfortable. I’m having a great party and with him there he might find out I’m trying to move on to other people. I wanted to keep that a secret from him. I step outside where many people have started to gather, sitting in lawn chairs all around the neighborhood in their own lawns. There was a great crack in the sky and then a thin strip of slight that split it in two. The split grew tremendously until I could see into it. It was a glance into another cosmos- filled with a milky sky of stars all different colors I’ve never seen before. Then memories flashed in it, from another world. The illusion was beautiful. I wanted to take a video but I couldn’t open my phone, I was glad to be forced to stay still and watch. Staring at the sky I come into a horde of lady bugs gathered outside my parent’s door. I struggle to get into the house without letting them in with me. There’s a little blonde girl watching. Next morning there is a guy at the party, in the house, with a bee on his face. He’s keeping rather calm but I keep telling him to take it outside. Inside, Everyone is cleaning. One snooty girl is vacuuming inside with her little dog under her arm. She constantly needs my help. But I just want to be with my other guest sitting on the porch waiting for thier rides to come get them. All the boys want a kiss from me before they go. Micah is there but he’s no where in sight so I figure why not. I direct the first one to ask, the super sweet guy, to a blind spot near the porch door so I can kiss him without anyone seeing- even thought the rest of my party, save for Micah, hear him ask. The kiss I awkward but sweet - I think he’s upset I hid it from everyone else. The one guy is called out for sabotaging- like switching the dye colors and he leaves offended. I only feel a little bit bad and try to remember that he had hidden intentions and I don’t owe him anything. The funny guy brings me a late present. A pouch gull of practical jokes. I think it’s sweet, but not me. There’s a mister potato’s head inside. Another guy brings me a bunch of switch games that I really wanted and I feel excited and seen. During clean up, the lady with the vacuum keeps letting her dog eat glass. Scared, I kept trying to intervene but everytime I’m around she’s like “oh good, it’s you.” -Sarcastically. I tried to wrench her dogs mouth open but she’s sort of drugged out and telling me it’s fine while the dog is trying to bite me. I eventually let him go I put the vacuum away in the entertainment center. Lots of things fall over and catch a small fire, completely melting the handle off. On the porch that young girl I saw earlier is looking through coupons. I take it because it’s my birthday than decide I want to share. The younger girl wanted a hemp foundation one and I let her take it. I get excited at the prospects of getting a perfume and having a scent. After the party is all done Micah has presents for me too but he wants to wait until everyone is gone to give them to me. Later, Bane, Micahs dog, is acting weird towards Zoey, my cat. Zoey wants to cuddle him but Bane is barking and biting at her - which is so unlike both of them- Micah tells me to trust it but I have a gut feeling if I let them be, he’ll kill her.
