Water and old lovers

I was with friends and we were in a city. There was a river that was a river that was going really fast right in the middle of the city, and it was going uphill. There were people in the water and it looked fun so I got in too. I saw someone I knew so I went to them and they were like hey you should float up the river with us. I was like ehhhh ok fuck it. So we float up the river and it feels like a water slide. While going up, I see the guy I lost my virginity to who I haven’t seen in years. He was with a girl standing on the edge of the river on the sidewalk. We locked eyes, both waiting for someone to look away. I finally looked away and then got out of the water, on the opposite side of him. I started walking back down to my other friends, and I see another guy I once slept with. He walks by and he looks like he’s drunk or on drugs and is just saying nonsense. My friend says “oh I know him” and then I say “oh really? Me too. I fucked him.” And that was the end of my dream.
