Missing

I was in the role of another person a grown lady with red hair and I was in her body. I had a daughter and when I got home. I looked everywhere for my daughter. I looked around the whole house shouting for her to come out but she didn’t. She was missing. I starting crying and running to get my phone calling the cops. They came by and filed a missing persons report. It was dinner and my young son sit in front of me and my husband sat on the other side. We sat in silence barely eating anything. My son took a sip of his milk and asked where his sister was. I sat for a minute and told him we don’t know. After we where done eating I went to her room. I searched the whole room with my husband looking for any clues but I couldn’t find anything. I looked under the bed and found a box. I opened it and it was filled with random trinkets and a monster high keychain of a guitar that opened up. There was nothing in side. I said to my husband in a disappointed voice there’s nothing good here and then I got woken up.

Dreams about a missing loved one can often reflect feelings of loss, vulnerability, and a sense of being disconnected from something or someone important in your waking life. In this dream, you assume the role of another person, a grown lady with red hair, who represents a different aspect of your own psyche. The theme of your missing daughter suggests that there may be a part of yourself or an aspect of your life that you feel has gone astray or gotten lost. This could symbolize a loss of identity, a sense of being disconnected from your own femininity, or the feeling of not being able to nurture an important aspect of yourself. It may also indicate a desire for a deeper connection with your own inner child, representing innocence, creativity, or vulnerability. The act of searching for your daughter throughout the whole house and shouting for her to come out may reflect your own attempts in waking life to find and reconnect with this missing part. The crying and running to call the cops portrays the urgency and desperation you feel to resolve this inner conflict or regain what has been lost. The presence of your son and husband during dinner suggests that there are other aspects of your life that are still available and present, but there is a sense of emptiness without the missing daughter. The silence and lack of appetite may symbolize your emotional state, where the distress over the loss has affected your ability to fully engage in life. The discovery of a box filled with random trinkets in your daughter's room represents the attempts you have made to find something meaningful or valuable in this missing part of yourself. The disappointment you express to your husband indicates a sense of frustration and lack of satisfaction with what you have found so far.
