Back wall of the house

12/7/2025|By seeker100

In a small neighborhood with single family homes situated on small lots of land I find myself inside one of the homes. It’s my mother in law’s home and across from her home I see my house that was one street away. For some reason I’m walking back to my house in search for something inside. After looking around a bit I couldn’t find anything so I went outside to the backyard. I noticed writing on the back wall of my house. The writing was done in black spay paint or something. The writing was bold. It was a long sentence and written in the German language. I couldn’t understand it fully but somehow the jest of what it said came to me. It was something about the theme of Peace. I phone my mother in law’s house and she answered. I explained to her what I found written on the back wall of my house. Somehow she figured that my wife, her daughter, was the one who wrote the message on the wall. After telling my mother in law about the writing she became very angry on the phone and blamed her daughter and called her the ‘N’ word. I was shocked hearing what she said and tried to calm her down. I told her that she was wrong about her daughter. I felt very troubled about my mother in laws anger. Soon afterwards I’m heading back to my mother in law’s house on a bicycle. Riding through the neighborhood there were two large dogs, they were collies. Each dog was on a leash and held by two df’s. I stopped and said I also had a collie when I was younger but my dog was a small collie. I told them the dog breed I had (Shetland Sheep) and there was some confusion about the name of the breed as they understood it . I motioned with my arms how their dogs were so big and the dog I had was so small.

Thank you for sharing your detailed dream. Here’s a calm, symbolic interpretation focusing on emotional themes and imagery: The setting in a familiar neighborhood with single-family homes may represent your sense of community, family, and personal boundaries. Being inside your mother-in-law’s home and then looking toward your own house suggests a connection or contrast between different family dynamics or roles. Your journey back to your house in search of something implies a quest for clarity or understanding within your personal life or identity. The bold writing on the back wall in German, centered around the theme of peace, could symbolize an important message or unresolved feeling that lies just out of full comprehension—something meaningful yet partly foreign or unfamiliar. The use of the back wall may indicate hidden or less visible aspects of yourself or your home life where this message resides. The phone call to your mother-in-law and her angry reaction introduces emotional tension, possibly reflecting unresolved conflicts, misunderstandings, or strong opinions within family relationships. Her use of a harsh word and your shock suggest a clash between negative judgments and your desire to defend and maintain harmony, highlighting emotional turmoil or distress within your relational environment. Riding a bicycle back through the neighborhood points to a personal journey or effort to navigate these complexities with balance and self-direction. The appearance of the large collies and your mention of a smaller Shetland Sheep dog represent comparisons between different scales of strength, protection, or personality traits — perhaps symbolizing how you view your own qualities relative to others. Overall, this dream touches on themes of communication, family conflict, the search for peace, and negotiating personal identity within a familiar social setting. It may invite reflection on how you manage difficult emotions and seek understanding amid complex relationships.
