Hayao Miyazaki

My mom, my sister, and I were visiting the Winchester House in California. We took a tour of the house with a group of boys. At the end of the tour, we were in some sort of food court with escalators, and it was revealed that the house had a movie theater. The theater was showing “Only Yesterday” by Hayao Miyazaki. I was pretty ecstatic because I adore that film, so we went to the theater. The theater was PACKED with so many people. I was nervous because I was pretty sure my family wouldn’t enjoy the movie. However, a member of the movie production came onstage and spoke in Japanese. Then, a K-Pop group dressed in goth clothing performed. I thought it was fun, they ran into the audience.
