Bad Kitty

I was part of a family that were moving into a brand-new, state of the art apartment complex, all futuristic. It was huge, there was lots of glass (which doesn't seem practical) but we were moving in. It was a day where most people who had already purchased apartments were arriving to set up. I remember there was a cat identical to Garfield that came with another family and got separated from them. The cat was found by a lady who sought to return the cat to the boy, but to everyone's surprise, the boy didn't want the cat back. He said it was a bad cat. If the lady wants it, she can keep it. So she did. Then flash forward, I am seeing the dream through the cat's eyes. I live with a new family that isn't in the apartment but in a nice suburb (not American btw, UK). While the owners were at work, or in any case not home, I (that is, the cat) made a big mess with the laundry. I realised what I had done and was terrified of the repercussions. I knew they would be home soon so I panicked and scrambled to get out of the house before their arrival. Naturally the house was locked and windows closed but I knew there was a cat flap (?) in one of the doors in the kitchen so I ran there. I suppose I made up my mind to run away rather than to face the possible scolding which would make it evident that I was indeed a bad kitty. I was fat though so I barely squeezed through the cat flap, right as I heard them come home. It was pretty stressful. Anyway, as soon as I was out, I bolted in a random location and didn't look back.
