Follow Mother And Burn the Butterflies

I was following mom into a dangerous place full of weeds, thorns, planks of wood with nails poking out, bugs etc. I had a handful of small butterflies and for some reason I was supposed to set them on fire but was struggling. My mom had a flimsy pack of matches, those flat ones, and was trying to strike a match but she became distracted by the flames and playing with them, kept getting the matches burned out. I tried to help but I only managed to destroy a few butterflies before I gave up and folded their wings like they're origami.
