MM Art
I'm at this place that looks like an aquarium and I faintly remember riding my bike around, I end up in these apartment like rooms. Im in one room and I believe its mine, everything is setup like an outside school there are differnt doors and they're across from eachother. Im in my room looking around at the stuff I have. Theres a lot of art supplies and it looks like people outside are making stuff for a special occasion, so I look around at my stuff and I start to kind of fiddle with it but not really make anything mostly because Im not sure why everyone is messing with their art supplies. I go to sit outside and it looks like something is going on, theres going to be some sort of event, everyone is waiting for something and I just don't know what yet. I'm sitting at the edge of my carpet just barely close to the exit of the door. The entrance to my room and door is on the grass so it feels like I'm sitting outside but i'm warm inside. I start to see some of the other people from their rooms and theres about three of them, theyre setup in a cross like way where you can see the four of us perfectly across from eachother. They start messing with the grass, cutting it a certain way where there are patterns. Each person has a different pattern. Mine is just regular because I just kept it the way it was. I hear a voice behind me and he says "what do you think their all going to do or trying to do?" I look back and its Marlyn Manson, I'm shocked that hes in my room, he's sitting with his legs around my bottom like i'm sitting on his lap but in between his legs on the floor. He looks over at my face and then looks up, then I look up and one of the girls has valentines stuff, construction paper cut to shapes of hearts and little patterns that are red, pink and hot pink. The other guy has really cool square patterns that are very mesmerising. I look at MM and say, "It looks like theyre all trying to impress you, is it Valentines day?" He says, "Yeah, I think it is" I tell him, "the girl doing the Valentine stuff I know her" she was a person I knew from school who was a friend of a friends. I tell him "I don't know why shes doing that." He said, "I don't know " I look back at him and I say, "I didn't know that it was Valentines Day" and he says, "Yeah, thats why Im here" and I say, "Why did you choose to be with me?, Why are you with me, shouldn't you be with somebody?" and he says,"no I chose to be here." I say,"I didn't know you were going to be here, didn't know we were supposed to be doing something for you." He says, "Thats just it, your not, you don't have to do anything for me, your fine just the way you are." I say, "ok, I wasn't going to anyways, its nice that your here" So we sit there watching these people create art on the lawn. He tells me. "I'm not going anywhere, I'm going to stay here. We just sit there and relax and watch people create in front of us, some things from nothing or from whats already there.

This dream feels like a gentle, textured exploration of watching and being watched, of creative potential and the awkwardness of not knowing what role you’re meant to play. The aquarium-like setting and the faint memory of biking in suggest a sense of containment and motion that you only half-remember — you’ve been moving forward on automatic, and now you find yourself in a more static, observed space. The apartment-rooms arranged across from each other create a scene of parallel lives: four stations where different people are working out patterns, and you are aware of being both inside your private room and on the edge of the communal life outside. The art supplies and the way others are actively making patterned grass speak to social creativity, performance, and comparison. You fiddle but don’t commit, which captures the feeling of hesitation many people have when a group ritual or special occasion arrives: you sense there is an expectation but you don’t quite know what it is or whether you want to meet it. The fact that your patch of grass remains “regular” while others create intricate patterns suggests comfort with your own organic way of being, or perhaps reluctance to perform just to impress. Sitting at the edge of the carpet near the exit reinforces that you are positioned to leave or to protect your autonomy even while participating. Marilyn Manson’s appearance functions symbolically more than literally: he is a bold, transgressive figure who in this scene offers an unexpected tenderness and reassurance. In archetypal terms he can read as a shadow-figure or a provocative animus presence — someone who represents parts of yourself that are unconventional, fierce, or socially feared, yet who chooses to stay and simply witness. His words, “you don’t have to do anything for me, you’re fine just the way you are,” express an acceptance that contrasts with the visible efforts of others, and that message seems to be at the heart of the dream: permission to be yourself without performative labor. The Valentine's elements introduce a theme of love, attention, and selection. The question of “why are they doing that” and whether people are trying to impress points to social anxiety about being chosen or valued. Your conversation with the figure about choosing to be with you—“I chose to be here”—is emotionally important: it reverses the common fear of needing to earn affection and replaces it with the reassuring possibility that someone can pick you willingly without a show. The dream allows you to rehearse being seen and accepted, and it softens the edge between observer and participant by valuing presence over output. Taken together, the dream invites you to reflect on where you feel pressured to perform in waking life and where you already feel quietly aligned with your own pattern. Psychologically, it nudges you toward embracing the creative impulse as process rather than product, and toward accepting comfort and companionship that doesn’t demand you change. A practical takeaway might be granting yourself permission to watch, to wait, and to join only when it feels right — knowing that there are people or parts of yourself that will choose to stay with you exactly as you are.
