The Apocalypse

I was trapped in this big dark old house with a group of kids, most being in their teens but some were very young children. We knew that a zombie apocalypse was taking place, and most of our parents and families were zombies. We believed we had all been captured by a zombie and being kept in a house to be played with as we were killed off one by one. We were each being given challenges through slips of paper we would find, and if we didn’t complete them in time we would be killed. The challenges were to find hidden items, to betray someone close to you, etc. The youngest were always the first to go, such as this little girl that always held a teddy bear. We would never see them die, they would disappear and we’d hear them screaming. I was freaking out when my challenge was to find a hidden item and I couldn’t find it anywhere in the house. Eventually, some of us older kids escaped the house and were running through these woods. I specifically remember a guy and a girl, both whom were very smart and you just knew they were survivors. We came across these army trucks in this clearing with military personnel who said they were collecting kids to take to a safe place. We didn’t trust them and ran away while other kids boarded the trucks. I was given a third party view as I saw the kids get torn apart and eaten by the zombies (disguised as military people). It was so morbid, their skin would be torn off and their eyeballs would fall from their sockets. I remember being chased through the woods before I woke up. I don’t know why I had this dream but I was definitely disturbed. I think it’s inspired by the 5th Wave, the book I’m reading right now.
