Ma
Saturday night or Sunday morning I dreamed me and Ma were roller blading really fast down halls and stairs, then we were trying to catch up with the group we were with. I asked Ma if she wanted to fly and she got on my back. I jumped off a ledge and flew us above the trees. Ma said don’t fly so high if we crash I won’t get hurt because I’m already dead but it’ll hurt me if you die. So I flew us down and landed on the ground. When I woke up I could still feel her arms around me. Ma came and visited me for Mother’s Day. That was good.

Thank you for sharing your dream. In this dream, the imagery of rollerblading down halls and stairs together conveys a sense of movement and possibly navigating through transitions or challenges in life. Moving quickly might reflect emotions related to urgency or excitement. The attempt to catch up with a group could suggest feelings about connection, belonging, or shared experiences. The shift to flying introduces a powerful symbol of freedom, escape, or transcendence. Offering to fly with Ma and having her on your back may indicate a deep bond, support, or a desire for closeness with her. Her comment about not flying too high because of the risks, framed in terms of her already being "dead," indicates awareness of mortality and the protective concern she holds for you from that perspective. The feeling of her arms around you upon waking emphasizes the continuation of that emotional connection even beyond physical presence, which aligns with the theme of her visitation on Mother’s Day. Overall, this dream can be viewed as a meaningful expression of your relationship with Ma, encompassing feelings of love, care, protection, and the enduring nature of your bond despite separation. It may also reflect your own navigation of feelings regarding loss, memory, and connection. If you find comfort in these reflections, that is a positive takeaway. If you want to explore further or the dream stirs strong emotions, consider discussing it with a trusted person or therapist.
