Old friend

I am in my house. Sanju is there. He is older and has two little boys. He, his wife and 2 boys are living in a tiny room in my home. I tell him his boys must be really quiet since I’ve never heard them at home. He tells me they are quite a hand full and make a lot of noise. I’m wondering how come I have never noticed or heard them before.
