Lucid Dream
The dream began non-lucid, and I was working at my summer job. I was organizing checks. However, the vibes were off. Everything was darker and cheaper. I got the feeling the company wasn’t doing well, but it was nice seeing my co-workers. Next, I was in my college apartment, but my roommates were my two best friends from high school. We (or, at least, me) were stressing about a history exam. Soon, we were in the library (which looked like my high school’s library) for the exam with my high school history teach and his intern. I was sitting on the floor, prepared to take my exam. However, suddenly, this flying little gadget was in the room. The intern said it was a government spy device. Then, government agents stomped in, but they were dressed in orange and blue Roman outfits from the old days (they resembled Roman warriors from a computer game I’ve played). At that point, I thought this was all really weird. I turned to my one best friend (AJ) and said, “I’m dreaming.” I realized I was dreaming, and got excited, but knew I couldn’t get too excited or I would wake up. I tried running and flying, but it didn’t really work. The students were all huddled in the back of the library to hide, so I joined them. I found my sister. I wanted to be in a better environment. Suddenly, we were both at my childhood home. It was night, and pretty dark and kind of creepy. I would see shadows that would disappear, but I knew it was all a dream. We were in the kitchen and heard a cat coming up the basement stairs. I assumed it was my alive cat, but it was the cat we put down last year. I started to tear up, and I hugged him and played with him. Our alive cat was not so happy to see him, but I made the alive cat be nice. I was kind of not enjoying the dream so much, so I just laid down and closed my eyes. I felt tired and wanted to sleep. Suddenly, I was in a beautiful mansion with my sister. I was wearing pearls and expensive light pink clothing, like a fuzzy shirt and a black skirt. I felt gorgeous, and the mansion was gorgeous with pink tones. It was all straight out of Barbie. Knowing I was in a dream, I wanted to find someone to dance with. Rows of people were sitting around the mansion’s ballroom, so I looked around for a cute guy. One ended up finding me, and we danced together.
