Taylor Swift’s wedding, a job, and a fabric store…

Weird dreams This weird job where I would work a few hours at random and it included belaying up at this place I remember saying on belay I think I still don’t know quite what it was A set maybe?? And I wanted to make sure I’d get paid and the guy was like we’ll figure it out You’ll get paid He had brownish hair Maybe was trans? It was a nice environment Something about finding necklaces and cool things in these rocks and we were outside in this kinda pretty bright place Or it at least looked like outside It looked like it was near the sea and the sky looked like after a storm and also sunrise So I found like a cool necklace and stuff in these giant rocks with holes So I took the stuff and was excited about it This part had to do with the previous Then I went to Taylor swift’s wedding or at least the setup for it like the practice version?? And I wanted to make if to the actual wedding And like I had a better chance if I went to all the setups but the second one I was late to? And another part where my dog tried to go into the wrong home next to ours of the next part The a bother part where I was riding a bus abd tapped my shoes with this guys Then I was at like Marshall’s but it was also a fabric store and me and my mom were picking out fabric I tucked some under my arm and accidentally took it home Which was lit right outside the Marshall’s in this shopping center there were these little doors that led to peoples homes And there were mats outside their homes so they were kinda picturesque The washing machines that were at the end were broken And my mom had propped the trash can in front of our door when we’d gone out for added safety I think the homes were also very tiny inside So then I somehow went back in a bikini with no shoes and realized sorta around when my mom who’d just come back pointed it out and then the employee was like get shoes and I explained I literally forgot So I went back for shoes I also accidentally had taken fabric so I decided to just keep the fabric Somehow I also put in like two long sleeve shirts And pants and I was trying not to be hot (when I’d accidentally taken the fabric I’d had on a leather jacket) but now at the end I had in a bunch of clothes again

Your dream strings together scenes about worth, belonging, and self-presentation, all wrapped in a playful, slightly anxious atmosphere. The work/belay scene, where you worry about getting paid and rely on another person’s assurance, evokes questions about being held and valued. Belaying in dreams often gestures toward trust and dependence: someone literally securing you while you move through risky territory. That this workplace felt like a “set” and had a person who was kind but noncommittal about payment suggests you’re processing the uncertainty of informal or transitional roles—projects, gigs, or relationships where the boundaries of responsibility and reward are fuzzy. The seaside rocks and the discovery of necklaces read like a discovery of inner resources. The storm-sunrise sky points to an emotional turning point—a clearing after upheaval—so finding treasures in holes in the rocks feels like uncovering overlooked parts of yourself or unexpected opportunities. From a Jungian angle, that’s classic treasure-hunting: the psyche lowering itself into the rocky, porous places of the unconscious and surfacing with talismans. Psychologically, this can represent newly noticed talents, values, or parts of your identity that feel precious and worth keeping. The wedding setup and your attempts to get into the real event bring in social belonging and performance. Taylor Swift’s wedding as a public, ritualized spectacle amplifies themes of recognition, timing, and a fear of missing out: attending the rehearsals increases your chance to be “in,” yet you’re late to one, which might mirror waking-life worries about being prepared or accepted. Weddings in dreams can also symbolize an inner union—trying to be present for an integration of different parts of yourself—while the celebrity aspect layers on the idea of public persona versus private reality. Household and shopping scenes—Marshall’s doubling as a fabric store, tiny homes, broken washers, propped trash cans—shift the focus to domestic safety and the construction of identity. Fabric and clothing are literally materials you use to make yourself presentable; furtively carrying fabric and then deciding to keep it suggests experimenting with or claiming new ways of presenting yourself. The contrast between wearing a leather jacket earlier and later being in a bikini with no shoes highlights the tension between armor and vulnerability: the parts of you that protect versus the parts that feel exposed. Taken together, the dream knots together archetypal patterns of the seeker/treasure hunter, the trickster/resourceful survivor, and the mother/home figure. Modern dream theory would add that these images are likely processing current anxieties and desires—about security (financial or domestic), about being seen and included, and about integrating new or previously hidden aspects of identity. None of this has to be literal: the dream is offering metaphors you can explore in waking life—where you feel paid or unpaid, protected or exposed, rehearsed or ready—and inviting you to notice what treasures you’ve begun to find among the rocks.
