Opium fields

I was outside in rolling hills of waist high grass / plants. There was a guy there who was kinda like my guide, helping me look for poppy seeds to make opium with. He gave me the tips on where to look and how to harvest them and I had to walk the fields and find it myself. The hill fields were a mix of grass and purple flowers - all waist high. It was very pretty, a sunny day as well. For a second I was concerned about hidden bugs in this super tall field - I didn’t outright think “ticks” but I know that’s what I was getting at - but I dismissed the thought and kept wandering. I didn’t find much, I was able to harvest a few poppy seeds but that’s it. Then I’m back with the guy and we’re at a gas pump. He says if you pump the gas with a very subtle touch, a very light stream, you’ll catch some poppy seeds in the gasoline. So I take the pump and feather the lever to pump small amounts of gas out. Here and there some poppy seeds come through but I worry I’m wasting a ton of gasoline.
