Late for my own birthday dance: distracted by coffee and exes

I had a dream that I was at school and later in the day there would be a party begin held for my own birthday. In the dream I had my best friends with me and my ex best friend with me. After classes we struggled to gather all of our things and meet in the bathroom. Syd and I got into our dresses but Erica, my ex bestie, decided she didn’t like hers and opted to dress up in a costume instead. In the dream I really wanted some coffee and I struggled with a machine to make it happen which ended up causing me to be late. For the whole dream I panicked about getting to the dance. Coffee took forever, I couldn’t find a place to do my hair, and I didn’t have my makeup with me. I was going to be late or maybe even miss the whole dance. My ex boyfriends (it was the same person but it switched between both them) We talked and flirted and even decided maybe we wanted to dance together. It felt like a bad idea to me— I didn’t want to get back together but… it felt so nice to flirt and kiss on them.
