Repeat x2

I’ve been having dreams for the last two nights about my ex-boyfriend, the one right before my most current boyfriend. We didn’t date for very long/it wasn’t a good match, no hard feelings at the end, so I haven’t really thought about him a whole lot since then. For the last two nights, I’ve had dreams involving him and somehow the pursuit of something or someone. Last night, there was this weird dynamic in which the world was sort of like a video game. You could spawn in and out, and if you got hurt, you would essentially have to rebuild and rejoin (I’m also playing a lot of Fallout right now, so a lot of my dreams have a lot of elements from that) So there’s intermittent battles with scenes of discussion. At one point, there’s an issue in which he needs to contact me. There’s also this element of him needing me, or trying to rejoin with me, but we keep getting separated. Battle scene, no him. Battle scene, I find him, but then we get separated. He’s supposed to be truthful to me but during all of this, I find out that he’s having to gently put down this other girl he was courting at the same time. She is losing it, but it’s difficult because I’m mostly apathetic and it makes me want to tell him to just move on. I can’t remember much about it, just wanted to right it down since this is the second night in a row this person has shown up in my dreams for no reason.
