The Return of The Rainbow-clad Karma.

This story is like most of my mystery game-inspired stories. To start, I was a woman with blue eyes and brown hair who was looking for something, something she felt was important. I made my way to a village who was stricken with illness, fear, and pain from their leader who held the power with an iron fist. When I helped an injured person, the leader saw me as a witch and imprisoned me. But I was crafty and broke out with whatever was at my disposal. Then I met other victims of the leader’s deceit and broke them out as well. Then as I walked out, I met a spirit of flame who told me part of why I was here. I was the newly-chosen embodiment of Karma. The spirit says that what I was looking for is “The Sword of The Rainbow Phoenix”, a sword capable of banishing, imprisoning, or slaying “Heralds of The Darkness.” The spirit told that the sword was split into twelve fragments and hidden around the village, So I knew what my goal was. We head off to find the pieces as I made a makeshift shovel, helping others who were stricken with hardships due to their leader’s cruelty. We eventually found the first fragment in the strangely intact ruins of a temple, even the traps were still intact and undisturbed, so we had to be careful as we made our way to the pedestal where the fragment was floating on. Eventually we finally made it with the fragment in our hands. A few hours later, we located where three fragments were hidden, protected by a basilisk. We had to keep our eyes closed as we slayed the basilisk, with slashes and stabs from my shovel and burns from the spirit, we killed the basilisk and it’s blood painted the floor. The three fragments were ours. Then four more were found in a mountain temple, where it was guarded by a wind spirit, who made a proposal. If we could keep a steady foot on the ground and make it to the fragments without getting blown off, we get to keep them. So we did, I used the handle of the shovel to keep myself steady as i traverse the temple while the wind spirit started blowing air through the temple, getting progressively stronger each step I took. I stumbled a few times, but my focus remained steadfast and I kept moving. Eventually I made it and I passed the wind spirit’s test. The last four were found in the leader’s home, we had to master the art of stealth and thievery as under cover of darkness, we made our move while the leader was in his bed. Carefully we climbed into his home and looked for the fragments, which was in a safe behind a painting of a dying phoenix. With sharp ears, unlocking the safe was easy as the last fragments were ours and we made our way out. With the rise of the rising sun, we finally put the sword back together and a feeling came to me as the sword magically reconstructed itself. As soon as I held the hilt, my clothes changed from an apothecary uniform to a armored rainbow dress and an intricate diadem on my head, two rainbow phoenix wings sprouted from my back and my eyes glowed with a fiery blue light. The new guardian has risen and this time, it was me. When we arrive to the village, everyone had a little hope come back to their eyes as the leader got scared when he saw me. I shake my head and slashed the rainbow sword, sending the leader away and imprisoning him in the mountain I called Tartarus. Everyone broke out into a wave of cheers and celebration, some broke into tears of joy and relief. Everyone thanks me profusely and years later, a temple was in the leader’s place, his house destroyed to create where I now lived as I watched the village that once was stricken by hardship now flourish with ripe crops, happy people, and no day goes by without the sound of music and laughter.
