Spider murders everything I love

TW: animal death I had a dream that I was with my ex-boyfriend from high school. (Non-dream context: This person had an interest in spiders, and he would keep them properly stored in his room.) We were together, but in an unusual house. I had my two dogs. At some point, he decided to let a few spiders out so that way they can “naturally hunt.” I was uncomfortable with this, but he insisted. We go to sleep. I wake up the next morning. I slowly watch both of his very venomous spiders bite my dogs on their paws. I freak out and take my dogs to a school-like structure where I am walking with them, talking to people, begging them to help me. I call my ex, asking what is going to happen, and he was like, “Yeah, sorry, your dogs are fucked... but oh shit, I’ve gotta get home and get them back in their cage.” He was worried about them because they are very fragile and could die easily. Meanwhile, I’m already noticing the my smaller dog get weaker and weaker. I’m freaking out, I don’t know what to do, and I hand him to someone begging them to help. I turn my attention back to my slightly bigger dog and she is starting to fall asleep. I’m crying, running, trying to find someone to help my dogs. I left my smaller dog with someone and he died with him, but my slightly bigger dog died in my arms. Distraught, I somehow make my way to our home (without my dogs?). I’m beyond upset, and I notice something on the ground as I’m walking through the front yard and into the house. It was an L-shaped walkway from the garage to the door, and along the side of the walkway, I see a black cat lying, stiff, stretched out next to the grass line. I look at her and realize quickly that she’s dead. Panicking, I look around and there’s another black cat, further away, lying outstretched just like the one before. And then I see another. And as I’m walking up to the steps of our house, I notice like five cats just dead, outstretched. Some of them were just halves of their bodies, some of them were full, some of them were just the lower halves. I’m freaking out, looking at these cats—it seemed like something much bigger than spiders was killing them. Freaking out, I called my ex to tell him, and he was freaking out about his spiders. He tells me that I have to catch them before they get hurt or do any more damage. Before I can get started on this task, I wake up.
