I had a dream that a group of friends and I discovered that there was a giant hole in the earth leading to a hell dimension of sorts. I do not remember a good chunk of the dream, just the end after we decided to deal with the issue ourselves before it all got out of control. Our last day on earth was nerve racking to say the least we all gathered stayed together the night before, gathered what items we needed, and when morning came left for one last breakfast. Some left early while me and the rest of the group were stuck waiting on our food, begging the others to wait for us before leaving. The whole dream I knew I would probably die in the battle and wondered how it might go down. Many were getting in a last few things before we left, like a redheaded woman on the team, whom I do not know in real life, told the girl she liked her feelings and they locked themselves in a bathroom. I thought to do something similar but my mom called for me. I found her and gave her the biggest hug asking if she knew that I didn’t have a choice, that the whole world was going to end if we didn’t fix the issue. She knew, and looked around as if to prove her point. Beings started to come up from the underground, blazing red like anthropomorphic flame, swollen and ugly. They were “blending in with people” my assumption, based on the general calm of everyone, was that most people could not tell what they were. I watched as they walked out of move theaters, ordered beer at the bar, wore sports jerseys. Those who ran into humans clung to them and stood still, their bodies blinking in and out like a dying bulb of light, absorbing the person in their clutches. I was telling my mom I loved her and the rest of the family when she grabbed me, fear in her eyes and told me to pull. I could feel that one had a hold of me and that I was locked in place, my body frozen and my energy pouring out of me. My mom pulled my arm and I gave the strongest tug I could— waking myself up.
