Dark door

I'm laying down in my bed sleeping, when I turned over, I noticed my bedroom door was wide open and it was dark. I couldn't see anything, so that frighten me bit. I laid there thinking if I should close the door or not, finally I got up and closed the door and jumped back in my bed and I felt safe afterwards. I'm not sure what happened next.
